David C. Oosterbaan, Founder and Portfolio Manager

David is the founding principal of DCO Capital Management and has 25 years of experience in portfolio management, investment research, and capital markets.  

Before founding DCO, David managed an alternative investment management firm, focused on concentrated, value investing in the public markets and lead private equity investments in the financial industry. David also worked at Strong Capital Management, a $40 Billion asset management firm, where he was a head analyst for a hedge fund and mutual fund with over $1.5 Billion of assets.

David began his career at the Board of Trade Options Exchange in 1996. 

David graduated from the University of Michigan with a Liberal Arts degree and completed the Value Investing Program at Columbia University.  David resides in the Chicago area with his family.
